AI.RDN+ team members offered insight into the project’s aims and our external collaborators provided comments on the pressing questions that AI poses for the doctoral research community and the critical position it has for the production of new knowledge.

After the opening address by Vice-Chancellor Prof Aleks Subić and Research England, there will be short talks illustrating current AI use in doctoral research and a panel debate on training and policy perspectives. These will be followed by facilitated evidence-gathering workshops exploring what success might look like for project partners and a plenary session to consolidate findings. The official launch event will be concluded with a networking reception.
